Keyword density is an important important feature in SEO. Find out yours at http://www.keyworddensity.com/. Some say the optimum is 6-8%, others say Google doesn't care.

See Brian Dean’s “Google’s 200 Ranking Factors: The Complete List” for one of the most comprehensive lists that we have seen on ranking. Brian also offers a free report titled “SEO Domination” on his website, backlinko.com.

Vaughn Aubuchon's "1-pagers" can be very useful, particularly his summary of information on various aspects of Google. The section on how Google treats keywords, is excerpted below. The first three are considerably more effective than the remaining.
